With a background that includes working for renowned international news agencies such as Reuters, Sipa Press USA, and Getty Images, Andrew Biraj brings a wealth of expertise to his craft. Holding an advanced diploma in photography from Pathshala in Bangladesh and a B.A. (Hons) in Photography & Video from The University of Bolton, UK, his skill and dedication have been showcased in leading publications worldwide. Andrew's portfolio spans prestigious publications like National Geographic Magazine, Time Magazine, The New York Times, and The Guardian, among others. His work has also been featured in exhibitions globally, including Visa Pour l'Image in France and the Angkor Photo Festival in Cambodia. Beyond his impactful photography, Andrew Biraj also served as a jury member, nominator, and professional portfolio reviewer, to actively contribute to shaping the industry. A co-founder and lifetime member of Counter Foto Photography Department in Bangladesh, Andrew has co-edited and co-authored books such as 'Under the Banyon Tree', 'Bonded Stitches and Struggle- Testimony of the life of Bangladeshi Garment Workers', and 'INSIGHT'.
